Members will be aware that we planned the GOGG holiday to Yorkshire for June 2020 but because of COVID- 19 this had to be postponed until 31st May this year. Because of the continuing uncertainties the holiday has had to be further delayed until 27th September 2021.
The holiday will run for 5 days and 4 nights and will be based in Bradford at the Dubrovnik Hotel an award winning privately owned hotel in a leafy part of the city, It is hoped that we will still be able to visit a number of gardens in North and West Yorkshire including the RHS gardens at Harlow Carr, Studley Royal, Nostell Priory, Newby Hall and Harewood House amongst others. Although fairly late in the summer these gardens should still have plenty of colour and interest and cafes should be open inside in case of cooler weather.
There are places available on the holiday so anyone who is interested but couldn’t make the previous dates should get in touch with Vic Ellis for further details on 01242 230442 As yet we do not have the final costs for the holiday as this will depend on the number of people on the holiday and the price of the gardens but should be around £400.
